نبذة مختصرة
Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome is a pediatric illness characterized by fever, conjunctivitis, oropharyngeal lesions, exanthem, peripheral edema, desquamation, and adenopathy. The entity has many possible complications, the most significant of which is coronary artery thrombosis and aneurysm. A rare but surgically important complication is hydrops of the gallbladder. In this paper a surgical approach as well as the diagnostic use of ultrasound is added to the exceedingly small number of existing reports.
