نبذة مختصرة
Ultrasound biomicroscopy, a high frequency ultrasound imaging device, allows high resolution images of the anterior segment. We report a case of recurrent hyphema secondary to anterior chamber lens implant. Corneal edema precluded visualization of the angle and lens haptic, and B-scan ultrasound provided no information about the lens implant. In contrast, ultrasound biomicroscopy precisely located the superior haptic and revealed that it was deeply embedded within the ciliary body.
