نبذة مختصرة
Cytoenzymatic examinations of epithelium in swabs taken from under metal and metal-acrylic bridges have been performed in 25 men without clinically perceptible changes in mucous membrane. Reactions on acid phosphatase, alkaline phosphatase and unspecific esterase have been performed. The results obtained point out that lysosomal enzymes are the factor damaging epithelium under the bridge. Damaging influence of the bridge on the epithelium has logical importance. It seems that keratosis process in epithelium cells under bridges starts off normally, however, it is not finished. Acryl monomer in the medium of oral cavity fluids probably plays essential role in formation of changes in the cells of intermediate and deep layers epithelium.
