Control group - Women admitted to the gynecological emergency room with high clinical suspicious of ovarian torsion and went through laparoscopic surgery, however no ovarian torsion has been demonstrated

Ovarian Torsion

Blood sample for Anti Mullarian Hormone (AMH) analysis will be taken during preparation for surgery, while inserting vein line and taking the customary blood samples.

Pre operation Blood sample for AMH

Additional blood sampling that will include a single tube containing 3 cc of blood for analysis of AMH will be taken three month from operation.

The Influence of Ovarian Torsion and Surgical De-torsion on Ovarian Reserve

The change in Anti Mullarian Hormone (AMH) levels before and three month after laparoscopy

Ovarian color before and after de-torsion , as described by the operator (black- necrotic , blue- highly congested, red- hyperemic , pink-normal)

Time from admission to the emergency room to de-torsion in minutes

Estimated size of the ovary in centimeters

This is a prospective case control study including all women admitted to the gynecological emergency room with high clinical suspicious of ovarian torsion, that are planned to go through laparoscopic surgery

Patients randomized to this arm will receive intravenous ketaprofen when treating renal colic.
Intervention: intravenous ketaprofen

Patients randomized to this arm will receive intravenous paracetamol when treating renal colic.
Intervention: intravenous paracetamol

Renal Colic

Acute Renal Colic

Patients will recieve 100 mg of ketoprofen via slow intravenous perfusion. (100mg of ketoprofen powder for injection dissolved in 100 ml injectable isotonic solution)

Intravenous ketoprofen

Patients will receive 1g of paracetamol via slow intravenous perfusion. (100 ml of solution at 10mg/ml)

cutaneous manifestation, edema, bronchospasm, nausea, vomiting, headache, palpitation, chest pain, dizziness, disturbance of consciousness, dyspnea, acute retention of urine

Qualitative variable with the following classes: obstructive pyelonephritis, hyperalgesia, urinary tract rupture, need for surgical drainage, sepsis, death

The women in this arm will not receive preventive antibiotic treatment after delivery

The women in this arm will receive preventive antibiotic treatment after the delivery to 6 weeks

P.O NITROFURANTOIN 100 mg per day for 6 weeks

P.O CEPHALEXIN 500 MG PER DAY FOR 6 WEEKS

P.O AMOXICILLIN 250 MG PER DAY FOR 6 WEEKS

PREVENTIVE TREATMENT- AMOXICILLIN

P.O AMOXICILLIN AND CLAVULANATE POTASSIUM, 875 MG PER DAY FOR 6 WEEKS

PREVENTIVE TREATMENT- AMOXICILLIN AND CLAVULANATE POTASSIUM

P.O CEFUROXIME 250 MG PER DAY FOR 6 WEEKS

PREVENTIVE TREATMENT- CEFUROXIME

P.O SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM 1 TAB PER DAY FOR 6 WEEKS
