Stephanthraniline A (STA) isolated from the stems of Stephanotis mucronata (Blanco) Merr. was evaluated for their suppression on T cells' immune responses in vitro and in vivo. In vivo, oral administration of STA significantly inhibited T cell-mediated delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) response.
