The garlic-derived organosulfur compound S-allylmercaptocysteine (SAMC) has been reported to exhibit anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities, whereas its potential therapeutic effect on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) is unknown. In this study, we focused on
