In the present investigation, the anti-inflammatory activity of a polyphenolic enriched extract of Schima wallichii bark was evaluated in vitro using human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and in vivo by carrageenan-induced paw oedema assay (acute study) and cotton pallet granuloma assay
