Cyperus javanicus, also known as the Javanese flatsedge, is a sedge of the family Cyperaceae that is native to Indonesia and Australia.
The rhizomatous glaucous perennial sedge typically grows to a height of 0.6 to 1.2 metres (2.0 to 3.9 ft) and has a tufted habit. The plant blooms between January and August producing brown flowers.
