A diabetic patient who underwent a triple procedure (penetrating keratoplasty, cataract extraction and posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation), developed endophthalmitis caused by Proteus mirabilis. The source of infection was the infected donor cornea, which was imported from Sri Lanka.
