Cancer prevention uses natural, synthetic, or biological chemical agents to reverse, suppress, or prevent carcinogenic progression. Chemoprevention trials are based on the hypothesis that interruption of the biological process involved in carcinogenesis will inhibit this process and, in turn, reduce
