The patient's first dialysis is planned if:
His first hemodialysis uses an AV fistula
His first hemodialysis uses a permanent catheter as the patient's permanent access
His first peritoneal dialysis is >6 days after catheter placement.
The patient's first dialysis is unplanned if:
His first hemodialysis uses a temporary catheter
His first hemodialysis uses a permanent catheter as the patient's temporary access (i.e. a later AV fistula is planned.
His first peritoneal dialysis is <7 days after catheter placement.

Patients will recieve 100 mg of ketoprofen via slow intravenous perfusion. (100mg of ketoprofen powder for injection dissolved in 100 ml injectable isotonic solution)

Patients will receive 1g of paracetamol via slow intravenous perfusion. (100 ml of solution at 10mg/ml)

Patients > 18 years of age with flank pain and/or costovertebral angle tenderness, documented temperature in the emergency department of ≥38°C/100.4°F by any method of measurement, and clinically suspected acute pyelonephritis.
