Methods of using creatine compounds such as creatine kinase inhibitors, and more particularly, cyclocreatine and homocyclocreatine, to inhibit thrombin-induced cytoskeletal reorganization, platelet aggregation, inflammatory processes, endothelial cell contraction and related cardiovascular and CNS disorders are described.
