Primary efficacy objective is to compare the change in maximum level of pain experienced by patient over 24 hours between IV acetaminophen and IV ibuprofen (alone and in combination), and the current standard of care medication regimen. This comparison will be measured using a visual analog scale (VAS) from 0 to 10, 0 signifying no pain and 10 signifying the worst possible pain. The scores reported are the mean of all patients' VAS scores in each respective category.

Evaluation of Maximum Pain Intensity Change Over 24 Hours With the Addition of IV Acetaminophen and IV Ibuprofen

ferrous bisglycinate chelate 1 tablet daily

ferrous bisglycinate chelate 2 tablets daily

Participants received ferrous bisglycinate chelate, 1 tablet of 60 mg, once-daily after dinner, via oral route for 8 weeks.

Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate 60 mg 1 Once-daily

Participants received ferrous bisglycinate chelate, 1 tablet each of 60 mg, twice-daily after breakfast and dinner, via oral route for 8 weeks.

Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate 60 mg 1 Twice-daily

Participants received ferrous ascorbate, 1 tablet of 100 mg once-daily after dinner, via oral route for 8 weeks.

The comparison in percentage of participants with gastrointestinal side effects during 8 week treatment period is reported. Gastrointestinal side effects during 8 weeks treatment included abdominal discomfort, gastritis, nausea, dyspepsia, change in bowel habit, constipation, faeces discolored, diarrhea and flatulence.

Tranexamic acid with titrated doses. All women with menorrhagia will take .

Menorrhagia

After The starting dose of tranexamic acid will be 500 mg twice daily beginning the first day of menstrual flow for a total of 6 days per menstrual cycle. If after 2 days there is still menorrhagia without significant side effects the will be increased. The women will be assessed again at day 4 and 9 and dose escalation will continue until they have reached the optimal dose.The dose of tranexamic acid will be increased as follows: 1000 mg twice daily, 1000 mg three times daily, 1500 mg/1000 mg/1000 mg, 1000 mg four times daily, 1500 mg three times daily, and 1500 mg four times daily (maximum dose).Each patient will be followed for a minimum of one menstrual cycle and a maximum of 3 cycles.
