BACKGROUND
Hairy root cultures of Linum sp. are an alternative for the high production of lignans. Linum perenne is known to produce arylnaphthalene-type lignans such as justicidin B, isojusticidin and diphyllin.
OBJECTIVE
To elucidate the presence of aryltetralin-type lignan diastereoisomers,
